Dude they made like a 50% profit on the game and they said it wasn’t profitable enough. Not that it lost money or anything, it made money, a lot of it, just not ENOUGH money for papa Microsoft.

      The greed is just insane.

It’s too bad micro$hit wasn’t in need of a smaller studio that makes critically acclaimed titles that give them prestige… Wait.

Yes that would be a sound business decision

Exponential capitalism is not a sound business decision

A fucking travesty. Wouldn’t have minded some more horror games from Tango in the future, either.

Good enough to continue paying a Denuvo licence for it. (I know that MS probably has a flatrate or something for it)

Hi-Fi Rush pulled off a concept I thought was impossible; a satisfying to play 3D RPG Rhythm Game where all the gameplay feels natural. And Bethesda axed their team instead of keeping such unbelievably talented game developers.

If any other game studio came out with a game with this amount of success in a niche genre; I can bet you that they will never let these devs go unless they’re facing near bankruptcy (which Bethesda is nowhere even close to since they’re under Microsoft).
