The app that synchronizes multiple lemmy accounts so you can migrate and keep backup accounts across instances, it’s opensource and free, currently working in android and windows.
It’s in homologation now and anyone can test, any feedbacks are welcome as always.

Perfect timing! My instance is shutting down, so I need to sync up my subscriptions!
Cheers
can someone explain how exactly Lemmy works? I was told it was something like an alternative to reddit, but I don’t understand what instances are
Think of each instance as its own reddit, except that if you have an account on one “reddit”, you can also access the subreddits (called communities or comms here) of another linked (federated) “reddit”.
is accessing other communities of other instances what this app helps with?
no, this app helps sync the subscribed / blocked list from one instance to another.
this help if you want to move to a different instance and want to keep the subscribed list and blocked list.
I get it now, thanks
imagine each instance to a reddit equivalent. but instances are also federated with each other.
this way you have access to other ‘reddits’. each instance has its own rules, some are specialized to a topic, and some are generic.
as a general rule, it is better to choose a fairly small instace to spread the load.
to add more drama, some instances blocks / defederate from other instances. but you will learn this with time…
I assume it doesn’t work for lemmy -> kbin or kbin -> lemmy?
Yeah, that’s what I’m looking for what with sync. Though I assume once kbin gets it’s api going that’ll change.
Is there a plan to include syncing block lists in the future?
it doesn’t already? uff i will have to use the Python utility
