it’s satire
The Futurama bit was also satire.
They need to hurry up and tow that windmill outside of the environment.
I always worry that my solar panels will fail, allowing all that sunlight to overflow through to my house!
I know this is a meme/satire, but it did make me think.
Windmills take energy from wind, which slows the wind down. Many crops can be damaged by high winds, so a windmill would theoretically reduce likelihood of this crop damage, but is it enough to be a measurable benefit to the crops, or is a windmill so tall compared to the crops that the benefit is lost in the noise?
He forgot to turn it off when the wind wasn’t blowing.
Thanks! Didn’t know there was a sister news organization to the Onion.
