    I have family that live there now. All I hear from them anytime we talk or visit is how bad Ballad is since they took over the local hospital systems.

      Healthcare is so tricky because many of the insurers have near-monopolies. This encourages hospitals to merge to get more negotiating power and then you risk stuff like this happening
