Amen to that. If I feel hungry and I’m on my period I chomp down everything in sight because I need all I can get to sustain me

Real tip I received recently: Ask yourself if you’d eat an apple (instead of whatever you’re craving), if not, then it’s not because you’re hungry.

Any idea what to replace the apple with if you’re allergic to apples (and similar fruit)? I’d prefer to go hungry for an unhealthy length of time before I’d consider that option.

Edit: now that I think about it, people below 50kg prop don’t really need that tip anyways

Why can’t our feelings just come with a little note that clarifies where they’re coming from? I hope they change things in the next update 😞

Sometimes, I confuse cramps and hunger pangs. There’s also cravings that can be associated with periods.

I don’t know about others, but my period cramps often feel pretty similar to the kind of pain you feel when you’re really hungry. And also lots of people get food cravings on their period. It’s usually something specific they have a craving for. I usually want chocolate, honey, or croissants, but sometimes it’s just food in general even if I’m not actually hungry.
