Civil rights group denounces US House representative Tim Walberg’s calls to ‘get it over quick’ as a ‘clear call to genocide’
Archived version: https://archive.ph/8M2Uz
Imagine how much better the world would be if politicians had to pass a simple mental health assessment in order to hold office.
No good can ever possibly come from granting authority to psychopaths, and it’s long past time for humanity to wake up and stop doing it.
Absolutely. Psychopaths are naturally good at politics and they’re some of the last people we should choose to be politicians.
Same for CEOs and other powerful figures.
Walberg is an asshole. He only invites supporters to his townhalls, and this time someone slipped through. I wish he would publicly announce these meetings, I’d like to yell some unkind truths at him.
He would never say anything similar about Ukraine, and opposes any aid to them.
He said the quiet part loud and the loud part quiet
He will be brought back into line by the oligarchs. There has already been talk of Gaza being prime beachfront land. They definitely don’t want it radioactive ☢️.
He’s Republican, it’s hard to assume on this topic unfortunately
He’s just saying what almost all of them are apparently thinking
Haven’t they already though?
Edit: /s. I was implying that they essentially have probably dropped an equivalent megatons on Gaza as what was dropped on Hiroshima but simply with ‘conventional’ bombs.
No, they haven’t nuked Gaza, wtf lol
Lol you all entirely missed my point.
My point is that the total gigatons of bombs that they’ve dropped on Gaza is quite likely quite similar to the power of the original nuclear bombs. Modern nukes are obviously vastly more powerful. I also may be still vastly underestimating the power of the original bombs but my point was ultimately about how much of Gaza they’ve already razed with bombs.
Totally unvetted source so grain of salt just the first link on a Google search, but this was essentially what I was trying to say: https://euromedmonitor.org/en/article/5908/Israel-hit-Gaza-Strip-with-the-equivalent-of-two-nuclear-bombs
No… pretty sure any use of a nuclear weapon in the modern world would result in mass notifications to millions of peoples phones globally within minutes. Plus every government on the planet would be scrambling to make sure they’re defended against another bomb and preparing a response
I reckon the quick influx of messages would break a lot of the internet in the event of a nuke, even a small one
