United Launch Alliance(ULA) is preparing to return the US to the Moon with the launch of Astrobotic’s Peregrine lunar lander atop its brand-new Vulcan Centaur rocket.

ULA’s Vulcan rocket performed flawlessly, but Astrobotic’s Peregrine lunar lander has developed a propellant leak, which will preclude a landing attempt. It sounds like they’re going to try and get as much data as they can before they lose control of the spacecraft though.
