Seems like this could be one of those things that passes AND actually helps people. Time will tell tho
Pretty much. They’re saying they’ll try to litigate it rather than comply. If it holds, people end up better off.
If they lose they should be forced to pay people for the time they spent in litigation as unpaid wages.

But labor officials say they have carefully considered possible litigation and are confident that the rule would withstand a court challenge.
From an honest legal system, probably.
I hope they have something else ready to go for when the courts strike this down.
