    Just diagnosed recently. Couldn’t make it past point 2 in your post. Can’t wait to be able to make it to the end of articles like this without my eyes glazing over or forgetting what I’ve read.

    How do people determine whether they have ‘impaired’ neurological functions by the way?

      The content was found through research. You can also get scans but they’re expensive, but I doubt that it would reach the accuracy that’s found in research. I’m giving a list of the key-brain areas that could be impaired. It varies for everyone ofc.

      We tend to underestimate just how bad we have it when compared to neurotypicals (because we have no standard frame of reference to compare)

    Funny, I have been wondering whether I have ADHD or not and from reading this (after skipping over some sections), I think my basal ganglia is the main culprit. I always hear everything at the same time, have lots of trouble listening to someone talk and get impatient but then surprise everyone by remembering what a nearby group was discussing 15 minutes ago.
