Shit, I remember these in school. And I’m 22, pretty sure early 20s isn’t ood enough to count for an “are you this old” meme.

From someone who also remembers this, it doesn’t get better in your thirties.

If it’s anything, you and a college buddy of mine were both teething during 9/11, and I watched that live as a kid, and adults with their own apartments not remembering that is distressing to me. He’ll act like a perfectly normal adult and then it will come out he always thought pokemon was lame, and it’s because it had already worn out all of its welcome by the time he hit elementary school.

You’re not old. I’m normal and you’re a baby. Tiny infant. Do you want to go in the playplace?

Yea my kids have these games and they are around 10. And they aren’t my old versions of them, they’re new. This toy is definitely not a good use of this meme.

You hold one, someone else holds another, you throw the ball at the other person’s, it bounces off because tennis balls don’t fucking stick to velcro at high velocities god damnit

You didn’t realise you got old. Young people now look at you and see an old person, sorry mate.

If your age doesn’t start with a 0 or 1 then you’re old to so many people, a 5 year old doesn’t discern much between a 20 or a 40 year old.

Oh my god I loved these growing up. I loved them because you could throw and catch a ball without having to worry about your subpar fine motor skills causing you to drop the ball and interrupt play.

Exactly! Your hand just had to be in the general area to “catch” it. I think I remember these and the butt scooters (colorful little squares with 4 wheels on the bottom and handles on the side) the most from PE

You mean the scooters that you ran over you fingers all the time and surprised your fingers aren’t little pancakes today?

Your school got handles on your butt scooters!? Ours was just plywood on four wheels and you were lucky if you didn’t get one of the ones with fixed position wheels.
