I’m the minority on this show mostly because I did not follow it before it released and came into the show with zero hype and low expectations. I enjoyed it and am confident they will build on it and have an even better product with season 2
Adapting those books is a Herculean task, and being a longtime fan, I am actually ok with season 1.
Egveine is too far from a book image. And Suan relationship is taken out of nowhere.
I’ll have to give the first season another go. I wasn’t impressed with my first viewing.

When I heard they were going to finally make Wheel Of Time I joked that to be true to the source material there would need to be at least one shot of an incredibly intricate dress that zooms in and shows every tiny detail of the fabric and beadwork and stitching that lasts for about 2 minutes, to match the lengthy descriptions in the books.
The fact that they’re even trying at all is amazing. Yes they changed some things. Yes some people don’t like the changes they made. That happens with almost every adaptation, ever. I’m really looking forward to season 2.
